Well it’s been a busy few weeks at YLA HQ and I have been fortunate to have been involved in many new projects and tasks and acquiring several new clients who require the services of a Lifestyle Manager.
One of the most exciting and joyful requests that I have received since setting up Your Lifestyle Angel came from a new client several weeks ago to assist on a surprise marriage proposal.
It really was such an honour for someone to want me to assist in what truly is a very special and personal moment in ones life.
Due to the nature of the request and with respect to the client I will not reveal too many details of the wonderful day, but I have kindly been given permission to share some information.
I was given a brief to acquire two Brighton Beach style deck chairs for a forthcoming proposal in a quiet corner of Regents Park that was an early date area for the couple and is therefore a special place for them both.
The deckchairs were successfully sourced from Southsea Deckchairs and fit the brief exactly. In fact Southsea Deckchairs are the provider of deckchairs to Brighton City Council for Brighton Beach.
Absoloutely perfect for what the client requested.

The special day arrived and the sun was shining, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky and to top it off there was even a peacock in the quiet secluded area of Regents Park.
My role on the day consisted of setting the chairs up in the designated area within Regents Park and to guard the site until the couple arrived, at which point I would leave before they directly got to where the deckchairs were set up.
It was planned to a tee!
Below you can see a collage of photos that I took on the morning.

I am delighted that she said ‘yes’ and it was a privilage to be part of the occasion.
I would like to take this opportunity to say congratulations to the couple and should you need a Brides PA or Wedding Day Assist I can definitely be on hand!
After the excitement of the proposal it was then off to fabulous ‘Doodle Bar’ in Battersea to assist on the new Erika music video, ‘Touch Me (I won’t break)’.
Having previously worked with Erika many times it was great to be back with her on this shoot as Production Assistant.

The Doodle Bar was the perfect venue for filming and with a crew of 13 the shoot began promptly at 9am through to 10pm that night.
Above you can see a little sneak peek of the day and I am very excited to see the final video which is due to be launched in September.
The whole crew worked so hard and we moved through the video treatment with relative ease and in good timing.
It really was a pleasure to working alongside such a creative team of people. Full credit also must go to Erika who survived the day in the sometimes rather cold studio in simply her all in one gold outfit that can be seen in the pictures above. As ever, a true professional.
As soon as details of the video launch are announce I will be sure to publish them.
Then finally last week I was assisting two American tourists with their travel plans and itinerary whilst in London for the first time.
Only in London for a few days they wanted to get the most out of their stay and I was on call to assist with planning their days based around their lifestyle and interests.
With their limited number of days in London they got to see the The Gowns of Princess Diana at Kensington Palace, The National Portrait Gallery, The Tower of London, Churchill War Rooms, Hampton Court Place, experience a River Thames Cruise, London Canal Tour and London Zoo, Windor Castle, and to explore Kensington, Farringdon, Clerkenwell, Angel, to see The Jersey Boys and to enjoy many well deserved glasses of wine at the fabulous Gordon’s Wine Bar on Villiers Street.
Having lived in London the majority of my life I certainly never tyre of showing friends, family and tourists around and consider it my pleasure to be able to show first time visitors hidden gems that often get over looked in the standard tourists guides. After-all who better to show you round a city that someone who actually lives there.
So that has been my world for the last few weeks. Moving forward I am working with Bullseye TV to put together the content for the new website and I am delighted to be working again with the amazing Flint and Tinder on the website design and concept. Flint and Tinder actually built this YLA website for me and it is great to be working with them again.
And for now that is it from me. I do hope you have enjoyed reading my blog and seeing a brief selection of the wonderful things I have been doing as Lifestyle Manager to some of my clients.
